[UPDATE] Server Changes, 14th April 2010

The servers will be brought down at 9AM GMT on the 14th of April, 2010 for maintenance and updates (see HERE for your local time). This will include fixes to a number of bugs and exploits, as well as work done on server stability and lag.

This is expected to take no more than 30 minutes, though the servers may be up again any time before or after that. Updates will be issued through the chat on the main website if there are any problems.

Once the servers have been brought down, Update Notes will be posted here and the topic moved to the News forum. We thank you for your patience with us while the server is down.

If you have any questions, you may post in this topic while it is open. Please note that questions on what changes are being applied to the server will go unanswered until after the servers have been brought down.

Please also note that this is not a client update and is only server-side.

The following updates have been applied to the server:

• Bugs
  
  
  • A-speed calculating incorrectly. It is now working as it should.
    
  • Broadcast display issues - displaying 299 before a message. It now displays [ B ].
    
  • When kicking another player from a clan, the Clan Leader was also (temporarily) kicked.
    
  • When adding an item to a full storage, the item gets deleted rather than going back to your inventory.
    
  • Party Leaders being unable to transfer party leadership.
    
  • /gmlist giving display errors.
    
  • /gmskills not correctly checking access levels and freely giving them out. THOSE THAT HAVE USED THIS BE WARNED - gmskills have been removed from your account.
    
  • Ability to use /here command while in a shop.

  • Disabled the ability to have multiple characters logged in, all from the same account.
    
  • Excessive leveling - using the party system to level from 1-300+ in less than a minute has been disabled.
    
  • Reborn while in a party has been disabled.
    
  • Fixed where opening up and closing a shop excessively while holding a gemmed weapon from crashing the world server.
    
  • Fixed where using incorrect map IDs and gates would crash the world server.

  • Updated database files to match with server and client files.
    
  • Reduced server load to reduce lag in-game.
    
  • Death of monsters lagging and eventually crashing world server has been fixed.

o.O This is a SERVER update. Meaning, changes being applied to the game server - the thing you play on.

No forum changes are planned.
